'''Short description:''' Near-Real-Time gridded multi-mission merged satellite significant wave height. Only valid data are included. This product is processed in Near-Real-Time by the WAVE-TAC multi-mission altimeter data processing system and is based on CMEMS level-3 SWH datasets (see the product WAVE_GLO_WAV_L3_SWH_NRT_OBSERVATIONS_014_001). It merges along-track SWH data from the following missions: Jason-3, Sentinel-3A, Sentinel-3B, SARAL/AltiKa, Cryosat-2, CFOSAT and HaiYang-2B. The resulting gridded product has a 2° horizontal resolution and is produced daily. Different SWH fields are produced: VAVH_DAILY fields are daily statistics computed from all available level 3 along-track measurements from 00 UTC until 23:59 UTC ; VAVH_INST field provides an estimate of the instantaneous wave field at 12:00UTC (noon), using all available Level 3 along-track measurements and accounting for their spatial and temporal proximity.
